女性尿道综合征是指有尿频、尿急、尿痛等症状，但膀胱和尿道检查无明显器质性病变的一组非特异性症候群。多见于已婚的中青年女性。女性尿道综合征常由于尿道外口解剖异常(如小阴唇融合、尿道处女膜融合、处女膜伞等)、尿道远端梗阻、泌尿系感染以及局部化学性、机械性刺激等因素所引起。
尿道综合征的临床表现为：
1.其症状呈多样性，尿频、尿急、排尿困难是其主要症状，与急性膀胱炎极为相似。
2.其次，有耻骨上疼痛、紧迫性尿失禁、压力性尿失禁、里急后重、排尿后疼痛、性交困难等。
3.此外，还有下腹痛、背痛、双侧腰痛。有人认为，其症状特点是反复发作，药物治疗能减轻症状，但不能根治。
尿道综合征的体征也是多样的，包括尿道压痛，尿道硬结，粘膜水肿、充血、萎缩，尿道息肉，三角区颗粒状增生，尿道处女膜融征等。
