药物治疗、外科治疗以及行为治疗是尿道综合征的三大治疗方法。其中外科疗法避免了药物治疗对人体的深层损害，在临床应用中较为常见，下面是尿道综合征外科疗法的具体介绍：
(1)尿道扩张：适用于不同程度包括无症状的尿道梗阻，在尿道黏膜麻醉下施行，每周1次，尿道扩张器号码应逐渐增大至F36～F42，多数患者症状得到改善。
(2)尿道松解术(Richardson术)：尿道狭窄经扩张术无效者，可在局麻下行此术，待伤口愈合后可配合使用每两周1次的尿道扩张。手术去除尿道阴道膈间远端1/2弹力组织索或多处环形切开弹力组织索，可降低尿道阻力。
(3)尿道口、处女膜变异矫治：
①小阴唇融合：小阴唇分离术。
②尿道外口呈瓣形、堤坝形者行堤坝或瓣切除术;处女膜伞应予切除。
③尿道处女膜融合型：有多种手术方式，如尿道外口成形术、阴道口前缘后移术、尿道前庭移植术等。前两种术式设计似乎更合理，效果也较好。适应证：症状与性交关系密切的尿道处女膜融合症患者最适合此手术治疗;经各种治疗无效者，尽管症状与性生活关系不大，但也可以考虑手术治疗。婚后未育者暂不宜手术治疗，以免日后因分娩创伤而影响手术效果。手术要求达到尿道口和远端尿道平滑，延长尿道口-阴道口间距(1cm以上)，效果较好，且性生活满意度提高。
